Support the nervous, cadiovascular, endocrine, respiratory and digestive systems as they relate to yoga and Ayurveda.

Yoga Humanities

So the practice has roots, not just shapes.

Grasp the foundation of yoga history, philosophy and ethics through the lens of Tantra yoga and the Vedic teachings.

Take time for self-reflection, become familiar with major yogic texts, understand basics of Sanskrit, and experience Bhakti yoga through chanting and kirtan.

Develop awareness of the Yoga Sutras, ethical commitments, and responsibility of ethics to increase equity in yoga.

Professional Essentials

So you can teach in the real world without imposter energy.

Develop a strong teaching skills to be able to guide a well-rounded practice – including sequencing, pace, cueing, and class management.

You will have the tools to begin a business, ways to expand your education, receive marketing support and other business elements.

Develop confidence and real life experiences by teaching with your YTT peers regularly and to our students in the Asana studio for your final teach out.

Ayurveda Foundations
Build a strong foundational understanding of feminine-form Ayurveda for your own life and how to integrate it in a class. As the grandmother medicine of yoga, you will be able to prescribe poses for doshic (body constitution type) imbalances, pre- and post-natal support, and discern how the three main doshas present themselves in students and seasons.

This training is an investment, and it is also an investment in how you live the rest of your life.

Payment Plan: $388.80/month for 10 months
— $500 nonrefundable deposit is applied toward tuition —

If finances are a barrier, reach out. We have limited scholarship support and a karma yoga trade option available.

To reserve your spot in the program, a nonrefundable deposit of $500 is required upon acceptance. If you cancel 30 days or more before the program start date, you will forfeit 100% of your deposit and any additional tuition payments will be refunded. Once the training begins, all tuition payments are nonrefundable and no refunds or credits will be issued for any reason. If the program is canceled by Asana before it begins, all payments made will be refunded in full. No refunds will be issued if a student is removed from the program due to misconduct, including violation of the Code of Conduct, harassment, bullying, or any behavior that is disruptive or inappropriate to the training environment.

The Schedule

All Sessions are in-person at the Asana studio in Klamath Falls – All sessions will also be held live and recorded via zoom when you are not able to attend in person.

Full participation is required to graduate. If you miss an in person session, you are responsible for completing the recording and any assigned make up work. In cases where a recording is not available or you need additional support, one on one make up sessions can be scheduled with Jill for $108 per hour.

We begin Friday, February 20.

This training is designed to be accessible, challenging, and life-changing. The Mahasana 200hr YTT gives you the opportunity to grow and get the most benefit out of the program.

Daily | Commit to a daily (or at least 5x per week) yoga practice. This can include the days we practice together.

Homework | Includes reading, studying, and preparing outside the hours above. about 2-3 hrs per week

Anatomy Course | Our 30 hours of anatomy course will be done online with Rachel Scott at your own time. These pre-recorded classes will be integrated into our live sessions and are required to receive your certification. about 3 hrs per week. You can begin watching these sessions before the training begins, during the training, or complete at your own pace after the training.

Teaching | You will partner teach with a classmate every week. A “teach-out” to the entire class will be held the last week(s) of the training. However, as part of seva, contribution/offering back to our community, and required for your certification, you will teach two (public) community donation-based classes after our final session. Dates TBD, most likely Wednesdays at 4pm – possibly outside at the park. Other YTT students are highly encouraged to attend each other’s classes.

Anna Keppen

Anna is from the Klamath Falls, Oregon and has dedicated her life to working with plant medicine and holistic health. Anna graduated with her undergraduate in a Native American studies and Health Education at Southern Oregon University (SOU) in 2014. Directly after her time at SOU at the age of 21, Anna traveled to the Amazon jungle of Peru to begin her work and studies with a Shipibo tribe and Ayahuasca.

In 2023 Anna completed a three year graduate level clinical therapy program in Oregon with the intention to pursue work in legal psychedelic assisted therapy in the state of Oregon. Anna is a passionate musician and a joyful facilitator of plant medicine. Anna is also a practicing yoga instructor (RYT-500) and shares her yoga as an active part of her life work and practice.

Kundalini Teacher

Lisa Chancellor (Devi Seetal) fell in love with Kundalini Yoga after finding her teacher, Guru Jagat in 2019. Captivated by the philosophy, she began a daily practice and found it to be profoundly transformative. Lisa is honored to be presenting these teachings at Asana.

An anatomy nerd, Rachel is also a licensed massage therapist and has spent hundreds of hours in the cadaver lab. She combines her extensive academic training as an educator (M.Sci Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies, BA Columbia University) with her cumulative experience as a trainer, yoga teacher, and mentor in order to build a robust and transformational program for students around the world. Nope. Lots of students join because they want a deeper relationship with yoga and with themselves. If you end up teaching, amazing. If you do not, you will still walk away with a stronger practice, more clarity, and tools you will use for the rest of your life.

Yes. You do not need fancy poses to do teacher training. You need willingness, consistency, and a curious mind. We teach modifications, anatomy, and how to work with real bodies. If you can breathe and show up, you belong here.


The practice is vinyasa based, and we weave in Tantra inspired philosophy, Ayurveda, and energy medicine. Expect asana, breath work, meditation, subtle body education, and practices that support your nervous system and your real life.

Tantra, the way we work with it here, is not about being provocative or sexual. It is about presence and integrating a sense of the divine woven in all aspects of life. It is about learning to meet life as it is, with more awareness, more devotion, and more aliveness.


No. This training is spiritual in the sense that it supports connection, meaning, and inner growth. You do not need to believe anything specific to be here.

Plan for about 15 to 25 hours per week total during the program. That includes sessions, homework, the online anatomy course, and your own practice. It is a meaningful commitment, and it is absolutely doable if you plan ahead.

The 30 hour anatomy component is taught online through pre recorded sessions with Rachel Scott. You can complete it before training begins, during training, or at your own pace after training. We will integrate the anatomy material into our live sessions.

This training is designed to be attended in person. If you have to miss a session, Zoom participation and recordings are available when you cannot attend in person. You are still responsible for the material and any assigned work tied to that session. In cases where a recording is not available or more support is needed, one on one make up sessions with Jill can be scheduled for $75 per hour.

Full participation is required, and all required training hours must be completed in order to graduate and receive certification. If you miss time, we will help you make a plan to complete the hours and requirements.

Reiki Level 1 Attunement is included as part of the training. You will receive teachings and practices to support your own healing and energy awareness, and learn how Reiki can complement yoga and self care.

Yes. You will partner teach regularly during training, complete a final teach out with your cohort, and teach two public community donation based classes after the training as part of your certification requirements.

Perfect. Most people are. Nervous and excited feel suspiciously similar. You do not need to feel fearless, you just need to be willing.

Tuition includes your training hours, your student manual, Reiki Level 1 attunement, mentoring with Jill, studio classes during training, teaching opportunities, lifetime access to recorded sessions, plus the meals listed on the schedule section. You also receive 20 percent off Asana retail during the training.

If you are currently on an Asana membership, we will place it on hold during the training so you are not paying twice. While you are enrolled in Mahasana, you will have access to all Asana classes for the duration of the training and for one additional month after the training ends.
