Welcome & Get Started

We welcome new students, from those who are brand new to yoga to those who are looking for a new practice space or community! We invite you into our space with loving kindness and an opportunity to expand your awareness.

  • Please wear comfortable workout attire.
  • Our studio is warm, between 80-90 degrees. Dress accordingly.
  • Be prepared to practice in bare feet.
  • Please refrain from wearing any colognes or perfumes.
  • Arrive 10-15 minutes before class. Getting settled in calmly is part of the practice, too.
  • If you might be late, please let us know and we will attempt to accommodate a one-time late arrival.
  • Before entering the practice studio, take off your shoes, and turn off your cell phone. We have cubbies to safely keep your personal belongings.
  • Bring a towel to wipe down your mat (or yourself!) after use if you sweat during class.
  • We do have mat rentals (free with memberships), we highly recommend purchasing one. Once you sign up you’ll receive a one-time discount o purchasing any yoga items you need for your practice. We see that owning your own mat is an important tool and a symbol of commitment to your practice.
  • Avoid practicing with a full stomach, and drink water before/after class (ideally not too much during, unless you’re feeling dehydrated).
  • Introduce yourself as a new student to your teacher and please let us know if you have any injuries or conditions that may affect your practice.
  • If you must leave early, please discuss this with the teacher before and place your mat closest to the door.
  • Lastly, b kind to yourself. Lefts/rights can feel confusing for everyone, especially when we’re new to the practice!

Other Things to Note

  • In-studio classes are limited to 15 students so make sure to reserve early. This allows for about 4 feet between each student
  • We now accept drop-in, with the minimum of three students pre-registered an hour before class begins (so pre-register if you can)
  • Our 1 hour cancellation policy will be strictly enforced for in-studio classes (unless you are feeling sick, then please email us to cancel!) This applies to students on the waitlist as well, so please cancel your reservation if you are unable to attend class (If you are on the waitlist you can cancel at anytime without being charged, unless you have been moved to the class).
  • Registration signup is open 14 days in advance up to 1 hour before the time of class. Reservations are good up to the stated start time.
  • You have a grace period of 2 hours after booking to cancel the session without penalty, unless the two hours is within the 1 hour cancellation policy.
  • In the event that a student does not cancel online 2 hours before class starts or is a no-show, they will lose a class from their package. Auto Pay members will be charged $5.
  • We do not take reservations or cancellations by phone.
  • Please note, some of our in studio classes will be live streamed and recorded. If you’d prefer to not be in the video, make sure to arrive early and set up behind the camera.
  • For livestream classes, head over to AsanaOnline, through our Marvelous platform to get access to our online library + livestream classes.
welcoming you with an open heart
